I've been loving loads recently so thought it was time to share some of my favourite finds again.

LUSH- Bubble Bars

At the end of March the new LUSH shop opened in Cardiff. It's the biggest store in the UK and it's full of delightful goodies. I picked up lots of stuff but my faves were the bubble bars. I love that they can used over and over. I'm a sucker for value for money so that's why I picked up two different products to try. I purchased the 'Pink Flamingo' and 'Bunch Of Carrots'. At first it felt overwhelming walking into the store as it was very busy, but the lay out is great which enables you to move around the displays to makes it easy to pick up things. The guys in there are so helpful too, if you're new to LUSH and don't know what to try give the bubble bars a go, they smell amazing, and are a total hit with my four year old niece too.

THE BODY SHOP - Aloe Calming Cream Cleanser.

I was reading online about double cleansing, I thought I'd give it a try. If you've already seen my skincare routine post you'll know that I already use an oil based cleanser from No7 so wanted to try a new brand to go alongside this. I went for the Aloe Vera range in The Body Shop. I've used the moisturiser in this range before and know that it suits my sensitive skin. I was dubious about whether I needed to even bother doing this but I used it after my No7 Cleansing Oil and it made such a difference. It removed the oily feeling and took any last bits of make-up away leaving my skin feeling clear and soft.

Love a good skin care routine!

Spring is here so I'm out of boots and into shoes and trainers with my ankles on show. It might just be me but I am unable to wear shoes without socks, it goes right through me! I've been on the hunt for the perfect foot socks, so many of them slip down your heels whilst you walk. I know most of you reading this know my pain here. I have the answer and found these socks in Asda, they're not displayed by the other socks in the George department, they can be found on the end of the aisles by the till points. They come in black, white and nude. They're £3.75 for a pack of two, which sounds expensive but they are so worth it. They're a lovely cotton which ensures maximum breath-ability and hygiene. I find that these are the perfect thickness too, I wear them with loafers and trainers and they have a thin layer of gel on the heel which keeps them in place all day. The packaging is very boring but look beyond that and you have a great product. Win win for me. Give them a try!

TANYA BURR COSMETICS - 'Enchanted Dream' Eye Shadow Palette.

I have literally been wearing this palette day and night for the past month and I'm loving it! I'm totally going to need to buy a new one very soon. I love the shades in this palette as I am able to create a day look and a smoky eye for the evening using just four shades. This is perfect if you're going away over night as there is no need to pack lots of different palettes. I use the shade cocoa plum all over my lid then I take a blending brush and mix berry soufflé and magic carpet in the crease of my eye to add depth and smoke it out. To make my eyes pop I add the lightest shade, moonlit walk to the inner corner of my eye and on my brow bone to finish the look. Tanya and her team nailed it on this one. Love love love.

I've been looking around for a denim jacket for a while now. I found a lot of them were too oversized and didn't flatter my shape when I tried them on. I saw this denim jacket and it was £15, tried it on and loved it! I really liked that its a longer length, and I really liked the shade of denim. It's different to all the others I've seen, most I've seen have been really washed out or too light. So happy I picked this up as it was such a bargain. This could be paired with black jeans, a top and vans, but you could totally dress it up with heels too. Go and grab one before they sell out!

So I couldn't have a monthly favourites without having a pair of shoes in here. I purchased these baby pink suede old skool Vans from Schuh and was so happy I managed to get a pair in my size. I went for a 5.5 and the fit is perfect for me, I've been wearing these so much and they've already featured in my Instagram posts. They're super versatile, I'll be featuring these in another post very soon.

Really love a lot of NYX products, I've used some of the liquid suede lip colour which are always at the bottom of my handbag, but I wanted to talk about this one in particular. This is in the shade 'Snow White' and is a beautiful bright red colour. I've been wearing this the last week as the weather has been lovely and I've been super impressed with it! The consistency is very creamy and moisturising and it doesn't dry or crack at all on your lips. The colour stays pretty well, it's not advertised as a long lasting lip shade however it does last most of the day which is great. So happy with this product I'm definitely going to look for more.

Let me know any favourites that you may have. I'll give them a try. Nxx

  1. I happened to pop in to Asda after reading the blog and picked up a pair of the socks you recommended and I’m so glad I did! I always had slippy socks but these are great, thank you!! X
