MY OVERNIGHT MAKE-UP FAVES.

MY OVERNIGHT MAKE-UP FAVES.

Apologies it's been so long I've had a busy few weeks, I'm back now though and have a few posts in the pipeline for you guys so I hope you enjoy.

I love any trip away, doesn't have to be for a long time, could just be one night. I have a drawer full of make-up (think I have a problem) so couldn't possibly take everything I wanted away with me. I thought it would be cool to share the products I just couldn't go without when I'm trying to pack light for a trip away!

FIRST UP...

RIMMEL -

MATCH PERFECTION FOUNDATION.

This foundation goes a long way so if you didn't want to take the whole glass bottle just pump half a dozen pumps into a plastic travel pot to take away (They sell these in Boots and Primark). This foundation isn't too heavy on the skin so you can build it up and get a fuller coverage if you wanted for the evening.

RIMMEL - STAY MATTE POWDER.

This is my old favourite, I use a light shade just to take any shine off my skin in my T-zone, this type of powder is great if you're having any photo's taken. Nobody wants a shiny head!

BENEFIT - HOOLA BRONZER.

Most people have tried this bronzer and love it, for me nothing compares to this at the moment, I really love the shade as I'm fair skinned. I also picked up a small travel size version in Boots last week which fits perfectly in my travel Make-up bag. It's a matte bronzer so works really well paired with a highlighter and gives a natural look.

MAX FACTOR - BAKED BLUSH.

Love this blusher, not only is it compact it’s the perfect shade for me, since I've dyed my hair a lighter blonde. I went for the shade Seductive Pink. I just add a dusting to the apples of my cheeks to give me a natural blush.

RIMMEL - BROW THIS WAY - MEDIUM BROWN.

My all-time favourite eyebrow product, really affordable and it contains everything you need in the pack. Apply the wax and the powder and you're good to go! I do use a separate angled brush, however the brush that comes included works nicely.

NYX - COOL NEUTRALS - EYE SHADOW PALETTE.

In total this palette contains 16 Shades. 11 MATTE Colours and 5 SHIMMER Colours. I've chosen this palette to be in my favourites as it's versatile for day and night wear. You can create a pretty neutral day look and a smokey brown and purple eye for an evening out. The pigment of these shadows are amazing and the colour does stay put all day, which for me is everything I ask for in a shadow.

MAKE-UP BRUSHES - REAL TECHNIQUES.

The BUFFING BRUSH -This is my fave at buffing the foundation into your skin, it leaves a flawless finish ready for powder and bronzer.

The CONTOURING BRUSH, is the perfect size for adding my bronzer or contour. I take some of my Nanshy blending brushes for my eyes too to apply my shadow.

MAYBELLINE - MASTER STROBING STICK.

I usually use a powder highlight, however in the interest of space time and traveling light, I've chosen a stick highlight. This one by Maybelline is shade 001 Light Iridescent. I put a strobe across each cheekbone, above and below my brows and on the tip of my nose and blend it out, you could either use your finger or use a soft buffing brush. As cream highlighters go I really like this one and it doesn't take up too much space.

BOURJOIS - WATERPROOF CLUBBING KHOL EYE LINER.

I’ve chosen this as it's the first eyeliner that I've been able to use on my upper lash line. It has a nice consistency and isn't too harsh which makes it easy to glide over the lid. I also use this on the bottom just to define my eyes, and with this product I can smoke it out if I want for the evening and don't need to pack any liquid liner.

BOURJOIS - VOLUME REVEAL MASCARA.

A firm favourite of mine, it has a thin wand which helps you achieve a full and defined looking lash, without getting the clumps. I also use this on my bottom lash as the wand isn't too bulky. I love this as it also has a mirror on the outside of the case, very handy if you wanted to throw it in your bag!

NYX MATTE LIPSTICK - SHADE 15 WHIPPED CAVIAR.

I went for this shade as I'm really loving neutral shades right now. I think this colour compliments the NYX eye palette quite nicely. Love the consistency of this NYX product as it feels very moisturising for a matte product.

Thank you so much for reading. Have you got any faves you think I should try?? Let me know. N xx
